Job Description
- As a QA Automation Engineer in the BFSI industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- - Developing test strategies, plans, and schedules for both web and mobile applications.
- - Performing functional, regression, system integration, and exploratory testing across various platforms.
- - Conducting end-to-end testing for critical processes such as Mutual Fund transactions and portfolio management.
- - Designing and maintaining automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- - Integrating automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment cycles.
- - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA.
- - Collaborating with development and business teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality assurance standards.
- - Mentoring and guiding junior testers to enhance overall team productivity.
- - Conducting mobile application testing across platforms (iOS, Android) and cross-browser testing for web applications.
- - Validating API integrations and testing data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
- - Leveraging BFSI domain knowledge, particularly in the Mutual Fund space, to test critical business scenarios.
- - Preparing detailed test execution reports and sharing insights to improve testing processes.
- - Conducting database testing by writing SQL queries to validate data integrity.
- - Performing performance testing using tools like JMeter and analyzing system bottlenecks.
- Qualifications required for this role include:
- - Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- - Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on the BFSI domain (Mutual Fund experience preferred).
- - Hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing.
- - Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
- - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- - ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
